Implants
Another option on replacing a missing tooth is an implant. Implants allow a dentist to replace missing teeth on an individual basis, without disturbing nearby teeth as we do with a bridge. A titanium implant post is placed in the bone, and after four to six months of integration, we place a crown on it for a return of the look, feel and function of the natural tooth.
Implants are the best way to replace a missing tooth today. They will never loosen, decay or deteriorate. They have a higher cost associated with them, but they are definitely worth it.
Dr. Foster can place routine implants for the replacement of teeth in a way that doesn’t involve the teeth around them. Implants can make bridges and removable dentures a thing of the past.
