What's New in Dentistry?

Given enough time and testing, even tried-and-true standards of dental care need to be updated. What you might remember or have experienced as a kid at your old dentist’s office has certainly changed for the better. At the Foster Dental Group, we are always looking at new ways to make the experiences our patients have as gentle and pleasant as possible. That begins with an attitude from our doctors and staff of creating a caring, understanding environment and expanding that into the equipment we use. From digitized x-rays to fillings that are as beautiful as they are strong, everything we do has been evaluated to maximize both short and long-term benefits to our patients.

Restorative Dentistry

Chances are you are going to get a cavity at some point in your life. What you use to replace that part of the tooth is up to you. Dentists have been using materials like gold and metal amalgam for generations with good results. Today, most fillings are done using composite resin for a look that matches the tooth around it. Nobody needs to know that you have had a filling done!

Cosmetic Dentistry

Whether you are concerned about a wide space between your teeth, a discoloration in your smile, or a chip that has been around since you were a kid, we can probably change your appearance in a big way with a small amount of cosmetic dentistry. Don’t keep it to yourself, ask if it can be changed!
